I love Cinderella, so I was super excited about this movie night! I wasn’t in the mood to make anything fancy (i.e. creative) so we had a “royal feast” for dinner.
On the menu:
-Rotisserie Chicken
- Pot Roast
-Mashed Potatoes
-Green Beans
-Salad
-Croissant
We used real napkins and drank out of wine glasses. Super fancy
Activities
I tried to get the girls to dust for me as if they were little Cinderella’s in rags…they didn’t take the bait!!! Ha! So…we had music lessons like Anastasia and Drizella…
Sami is starting to learn to read music…she can play Mary Had a Little Lamb! (I had NO idea she could do this!)
Skylar had fun with music lessons as well…
Then the clock struck “midnight” at somehow my “glass slippers” were all over the house! So off they went to collect them.
We had a short intermission for bath time…then we settled in for the movie.
We also had our dessert at this time. Fairy Godmother wands…also known as chocolate covered pretzel rods.
Skylar is starting to enjoy watching things for short periods. She kept yelling at the tv…”Rellie!!!!” So maybe by the time our trip comes she will be more familiar with the princesses.
We met so many fun people from Cinderella last year…here is a trip down memory lane…
The carousel is also Cinderella themed…
We are all really looking forward to eating at Cinderella’s Royal Table for Sami’s birthday this year…
One of our favorite meals last year was at 1900 Park Fare. We met Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella! I think it was my favorite character interaction! This trip the girls will be dresses as Anastasia and Drizella…I am sure those silly step sisters will FLIP over this!
We took such a long break from our movie nights…I can’t remember what movie is up next…but I’m sure we will have a blast!
