Disney Family Movie Night- Toy Story

With summer gone, and only FOUR weeks until Disney World I decided we needed to do a few more movie nights before our trip!

Tonight’s movie….Toy Story!!!

I “decorated” the table while Skylar was napping, and Sami was at school.

(Potato Head, Chatter Phone, Blocks, Barrel of Monkeys, and Play-Doh)

The girls started off the fun with the Play-Doh. Skylar isn’t too sure about Play-Doh yet, but she did squish it and flatten it a bit.

Sami made a “Rex”, and I also sat down and enjoyed the fun!

Then they played Barrel of Monkeys….

We had a “Claw” game…a basket of toys with tongs as the claw. They both thought this was really fun! Ha!

Then there was some Potato Head fun….

We also played “Buzz Lightyear’s Rings of Saturn Ring Toss”. A hula hoop on the ground and frisbees as rings.

We also played “Toy Story Mania” on Wii…which is very similar to the ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

On the menu tonight:

-Hamm’s Bacon and Eggs (Sami had hard boiled-Sky and I had scrambled)

-Mr. Potato Head’s Hashbrown Casserole

-Buzz’s Flying Saucer Flapjacks

-Woody’s Rootin Tootin Oranges and OJ

Why I chose this movie:

There are a lot of fun Toy Story themed things to do at Disney World! Last year we stayed at All Star Movies in the Toy Story section…

There are two fun rides- “Buzzlightyear’s Space Ranger Spin” is at Magic Kingdom and “Toy Story Midway Mania” is at Hollywood Studios. And of course it is always fun to meet your favorite characters!

The girls (and I) had a lot of fun tonight! Sami said it would have been more fun if Daddy had been home…and I totally agree!
