Disney Family Movie Nights are back!!! We kicked off the fun with The Lion King.
The first activity was a safari! The girls each had a check list of animals to find on their adventure.
They had a lot of fun searching the house on their safari! Skylar even used her zebra patterned binoculars!
On the menu:
Wildebeest steak
Tree of life trees (broccoli)
Pride Rock baked potatoes
Timon and Pumba’s ants on a log
Circle of life bread
Sami decorated everyone’s spot at the table with animal print placemats. They were pieces of felt from our craft supplies. She also put a few animals on the table!
After dinner the girls worked on their crafts. They made lions masks. I love a good paper plate craft!
The girls had dessert while they watched the movie. Rafiki’s banana pudding with animal crackers.
We chose this movie because we will be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge this fall! We have a Savannah view room, and we can not wait to sit on our balcony and watch the animals!
Animal Kingdom also has The Festival of the Lion King show- which is always a favorite!
Up next….I’m not sure! I am working on the list!
