One Sunday afternoon in October after Sami finished with Nutcracker rehearsal we went to County Line Orchard to pick pumpkins…and pick up some apple donuts…yum!
The rule for picking pumpkins at our house…you can choose any pumpkin you want, but you have to be able to carry it yourself. Skylar quickly found this to be a challenge!!!
But she finally found one…
Then it was Sami’s turn….
With pumpkins chosen we made our way over to the apple orchard. It was late in the season, so they were very picked over…but the girls found some to pick.
Sami was having SO much fun,and really wanted to pick more. So we walked row after row searching for more apples for her to pick. We finally found some much to her delight.
The girls carved their pumpkins a few days later. Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures…if I remember correctly the smell of pumpkin guts was making me ill. I do know they had a lot of fun, and they were really cute.
